Move forward into 2009. Be there to celebrate two great occasions. Obama Day on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday anniversary. Mark your calendars for January 15, 2009 10 a.m. in downtown Chicago at 77 W. Washington Chicago Temple First Methodist Church (indoors). Sign on. Call 312-525-0010. Your input is critical. Groups that work on issues of housing, disability, personal care, transportation, seniors, human rights, education, union organizing, or faith-based initiatives are all encouraged to participate.
Mission and information is posted at www.FromWallStreetToYallStreet.com

Working subcommittees are planning for what they would like to see President Obama focus on or accomplish during his first 100 days in office.

The Logistics Committee is planning transportation for people who are disabled, homeless, have no transportation access near them, or have difficulty paying extra carfare for nonessential travel. Carriers and taxi drivers can call to volunteer transportation.

Call 312-525-0010 now to join a working committee, sign up your organization, or for next meeting locations.

Join others and me on the Human Rights Committee to formulate our message regarding transportation for people with disabilities and our federal litigation concerning transportation; plus input on housing, children and their families, etc. Call me at 773-416-7366.

Please join and help prepare the “Poor People’s Agenda” or donate funds or feasible ideas to the work, or work on the committee of your choice. Meanwhile I am working with IMPRUVE, BNICEH and ZenZuu to restore people who are disabled from poverty and pity. Ase´ (ah-shay)
